We are expanding our Vienna office and are seeking ambitious, analytically strong M&A professionals who want to work on impactful international transactions and build a long-term career within a highly specialized and fast-growing platform.
Your impact
As an M&A Associate, you will be a core driver of our transaction teams and contribute directly to the success of high-profile cross-border mandates.
Deal Execution
- Lead key analytical workstreams across live buy-side and sell-side processes
- Prepare and own valuation modules including DCF, trading and transaction multiples, and LBO models
- Support process management, coordinate due diligence streams, and ensure timely execution in collaboration with advisors and clients
- Develop strategic insights to support positioning, process design, and negotiation preparation
Client & Market Insight
- Prepare high-quality client documentation (IMs, management presentations, teasers, pitches) with full ownership of key sections
- Gain direct exposure to C-level executives, shareholders, and financial investors from day one
- Conduct deep-dive sector and company research across our Industrial subsectors to support origination and industry mapping initiatives
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with VPs, Directors, and Partners in a non-hierarchical, collaborative environment
- Mentor Interns and help shape the team’s knowledge base and best practices
What You Bring
- Master’s degree from a top-tier university with strong academic performance
- 2–4+ years of M&A or Corporate Finance experience at an investment bank, boutique M&A firm, or Big 4 Transaction Advisory team
- Solid understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies, and transaction processes
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams independently
- Motivation to grow quickly, high professional standards, and an ownership mindset
- Fluent English required, German beneficial, additional languages an advantage
Recent Transaction Examples
- Rosenbauer [WBAG:ROS] capital increase plus OTC sale of a share package of BVG to new majority investor Robau (EV € 730m); Advised management board and founding family in a landmark transaction in the global firefighting industry.
- Kitron Group acquired DeltaNordic: Advised Norway’s largest electronics group to acquire a defence electronics specialist (EV €114m).
- MTC divested Aluflexpack to Constantia Flexibles: Executed a complex delisting of publicly-listed Aluflexpack realising a highly attractive exit multiple for MTC.
- Xtrac (backed by MiddleGround) acquired Zoerkler: Advised the owner of Zoerkler on joining forces with Xtrac, creating a high-performance drivetrain group within aerospace & high-end mobility.
- ACH Solution was sold to BC Partners–backed IGS GeboJagema: a landmark transaction in tooling for MedTech applications uniting two technology leaders.

- €90,000 gross annual salary plus uncapped bonus (on average €35,000 – 50,000)
